"City Impact has been an organization that embraces inclusivity and that’s the vision of the Ventura Unified School District. We have appreciated that City Impact has been able to work with us to ensure that when City impact is on our campuses they share the same goals and vision that we do and that is to be of service to our children.”

VIOLENCE PREVENTION & INTERVENTION
TRANSFORMATION WORKS
City Impact collaborates with Ventura County Sheriff's Office and local agencies/organizations to work with gang involved youth who need one-on-one intervention to help navigate through the complex process of goal setting, becoming employable, gaining work experience, and obtaining a job. Case Managers (CM) work with youth/young adults (12-24) involved in or at-risk of gang involvement. Individualized service plans are goal-orientated and focus on education, employability and resources needed to overcome barriers. CM’s provide the continuity of services needed for individuals to be successful. Counseling services are also offered in this program for youth and family members.

“I’ve been associated with City Impact since I came to this city as a new Chief in 2011…and I can truly say we have been a great community partner in a partnering relationship in dealing with youth and gang activity in our city.”
