COUNSELING SERVICES
City Impact Counseling Center provides quality Mental Health services to the Ventura County community. Our commitment is to restore and enhance relationships as well as bring reconciliation and hope to the children, youth and families we serve in the community.
Our professional team consists of highly trained licensed and licensed eligible marriage and family therapist (MFT) and social workers (LCSW) that provide individual, couples and group therapy. Counseling is offered in English and Spanish and complies with California Board of Behavioral Science standards.
Services include:
City Impact’s Counseling Programs strives to provide quality mental health services to our community at large. Services are bilingual, family friendly and easily accessible in our main office as well as at church satellite offices, schools, homes and other community venues. While some counseling is offered at no cost to the client, we provide affordable fees for low-income clients who do not meet program criteria.

- School-Based Counseling - (based on needs identified by individual schools)
- Student And Family Empowerment (SAFE) counseling for Special Education students
- Student Support Groups (offered in English & Spanish)

STUDENT SUPPORT GROUPSCity Impact collaborates with school districts to provide support groups on select campuses. Small groups focus on topics such as; anger management, positive problem solving, and conflict resolution for peers or family, and are offered in English or Spanish.
Referrals to this program are made through school personnel. |
STUDENT AND FAMILY EMPOWERMENT (SAFE)The SAFE program provides school-based mental health services at the elementary, middle and high schools. The students are identified by the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and referred to City Impact. City Impact Therapist assist Special Education students who face emotional and social challenges as well as disabilities that may inhibit their academic success.
