In 2021, Youth moved in with his Uncle Masalino (Fathers Brother) this provided a stable living environment. Harry attended Rio Mesa HS with little success, transferred to Frontier HS met guidance counselor Elizabeth Tobias who motivated Harry to focus and finish High School. Tobias referred Harry to our City Impact Program.
I spoke with Harry and explained how our program can help assist him reach his goals. A few weeks later Harry’s application was approved. About two weeks ago, Tobias was able to get a credit reduction and Harry graduated high school.
Since then, we were able to get Harry a job and enroll him at Oxnard College EOPS Program where he intends to get a HVAC degree.
