City Impact’s Counseling Center strives to provide quality mental health services to our community at large. Our purpose is to provide bilingual mental health services that are family friendly and easily accessible in our main office as well as at schools, homes, family resource centers and other community venues. While most services are offered at no cost to the client, we provide affordable fees for low-income clients who do not meet program criteria.
Medi-Cal Mental Health Services
City Impact partners with Ventura County Behavioral Health to provide mental health services to children and youth, ages 1-18 years who are Medi-Cal eligible. Our comprehensive mental health services include assessment and treatment for children experiencing behavioral and emotional symptoms that may impact their functioning at home and in the community.

Private Pay Counseling Services
City Impact’s counseling program is based on the premise of offering the best quality mental health services at the lowest cost possible. We offer services to the community at large utilizing our main office and satellite offices around the county.

Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)
In partnership with Ventura County Behavioral Health’s Prevention and Early Intervention program (PEI), we offer a unique program that is offered at no cost to parents and primary caregivers with children 0-12 years of age at home seeking opportunities to improve their parenting skills and techniques. Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) helps parents or primary caregivers learn how to identify positive parenting strategies and help re-direct their child’s negative behavior. The services are offered in Ventura, Saticoy, Oxnard and Port Hueneme.

The SAFE program provides school-based mental health services at the elementary, middle and high schools in the Oxnard area.  The students are identified by the schools during the process of an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and referred to City Impact.  City Impact Therapist assist students with their mental health needs directly related to obtaining and maintaining the goals set by their IEP.
