City Impact Counseling Center provides quality Mental Health services to the Ventura County community. Our commitment is to restore and enhance relationships as well as bring reconciliation and hope to the children, youth and families we serve in the community. Under the direction of the clinical supervisor and the program manager, the Students and Families Empowered Program (SAFE) therapist will be responsible to provide individual and group counseling services to students in the schools with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) at the elementary, middle and high schools. The students are identified by the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and referred to City Impact. City Impact Therapist assist Special Education students who face emotional and social challenges as well as disabilities that may inhibit their academic success.
Requirements:
-MSW, MA, or MS degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
-Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
-Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
-Copy of Master's Degree, Professional Liability Insurance, Driver's License, and Auto Liability Insurance.
-Candidate must pass a background check.
