CITY IMPACT COUNSELING CENTER
Our counseling staff works to help children, youth and their families live harmoniously and at peace in their world by providing competent mental health services throughout Ventura County. Using short-term counseling methods, our staff offers many services at reduced rates or no cost.

Multilingual, multicultural professionals who provide services in pre-marital, child, couple, individual, family and group counseling. Bilingual services are available in Spanish. |

What is a marriage and family therapist? |
Marriage and family therapists are relationship specialists who help people strengthen their relationships with others. They are trained to work with individuals, couples and families to have more satisfying relationships. This is achieved through premarital, individual, family, and group counseling, or counseling on parental or other relationship issues. |

Where do therapists work? |
Our therapists work at our main office in Oxnard and in schools, churches and family and women’s resource centers throughout Ventura County. We have satellite offices in Fillmore, Oxnard, Moorpark, Piru, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Ventura. In-home services also may be available. |

How do therapists work? |
A marriage and family therapist helps individuals, couples, families and children explore their problems and then solve them. Competent therapists do not offer solutions or take sides. They help clients work out solutions according to individual values and belief systems. |
