City Impact is a multicultural community organization established in 1995 to meet the growing needs of at-risk/high-risk youth and low-income families throughout Ventura County. We serve 2,800 individuals per week through a myriad of comprehensive prevention, early intervention and family support programs. City Impact has duplicated its outreach methodology in the urban communities of Pacoima and La Puente, California, St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri. |
Our programs and services have proven to improve academic performance and school attendance, reduce youth violence amongst at-risk children and youths, reduce juvenile delinquency, positive change in attitude towards school, improved self-esteem, improved peer and family relationships, improved literacy skills and school readiness for children 0-5 years old, and increased awareness on healthy living. City Impact's effectiveness has won the trust of civic leaders, prison officials, educators and pastors, opening numerous doors for creative programs to reach troubled children, youth and their family members. |
